Dr. Carlotta Barbon is a board-certified plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgeon, certified by the Swiss Society of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery. Italian-born, she built her career through international experience at world-renowned hospitals, including surgical training at Johns Hopkins Hospital in the United States and the University Hospital of Zurich, where she also earned her doctoral degree. She further refined her expertise through prestigious international fellowships, including the ISAPS Fellowship and advanced training at Akademikliniken in Stockholm, Sweden.
Highly active in research, she has authored more than 30 scientific publications and regularly teaches medical students. She specializes in both surgical and aesthetic medicine, combining technical excellence with an artistic eye to create results that are elegant, harmonious, and uniquely tailored to each patient. She is passionate about helping her patients feel confident and natural in their appearance, believing that plastic surgery should enhance — not change — one’s unique beauty.
She proudly joined the team of Dr. Matteo Vigo in March 2025, where she works as a plastic surgeon and provides a full range of plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine treatments. Her role combines both surgical and non-surgical approaches to deliver comprehensive, individualized care to patients.
